What is love?

What is love?

What is love? Only Romeo and Juliet were true lovers or they were idiots? First, lets us see how our mind works?

For thousands of centuries, our minds mostly were attracted to immediate pleasure. As there was an immediate threat to our life. If some wild animals came in our way we used to run away or used to attack without thinking on our part. These were quick responses that were given to us by nature. Today in psychology we call it the reptilian brain which is responsible for our involuntary responses. That's a critical part of our brain due to which most of the daily activities are carried out. From this when our brain sees an object which excites it.

This creates a problem as we take quick actions which creates a lot of problems in future. Like we fall in love with the person who really doesn't love. We all the time fall in love with the wrong person. I used to love someone but later I realized that she used me so I had a relationship with her friend and later I left her. Again I fell for someone else without thinking and ended up being broke. But here is the best part we all fall in love with someone in an instance.

All of us have objectified love itself if we get x thing or social status or anything. We all jump on this opportunity and this opportunity gives us nothing as our needs change we make love as a tool to satisfy our needs this makes love itself unlovable because love means unconditional there are no strings attached. Objectifying it kills it. We all should try to love someone for only love. But this doesn't mean that we should love them even though if they don't treat us well or have another relationship.

Love can make our lives great but it is not a big part of life but only a small part of our life which makes our life less sufferable. But only if it is unconditional. So lastly Romeo and Juliet were not a symbol of love because they created so much chaos and in the end died because of their own foolishness.
